" In the case of my work, I am not trying to express anything. Outcome of discipline. Every day, I dip into paint and constantly draw lines. When the paint piles up and naturally rises, I cut what has risen. The trace of time that has passed, this rhythm that has been inside of me all the time, those kinds of things appear and create harmony. This is the result of having piled paint everyday, dipping into it and spreading it. You can see it as the result of a kind of discipline. Putting a title of my work… For my ancient works, it was Shape. Now, because my works are made by the rhythm inside of me, it is Internal Rhythm. It is about expressing one’s internal world. It is one rhythm of this world. "

" Maison Galleria is like a house for Galleria VIPs and as a high-class space, it plays the role of a platform that can reflect a lifestyle for VIPs. Here, with Choice Art Company and Art Concierge, we were having exhibitions of many artists’ works but this time, we opened for the first time in Daejeon Professor Kim Tae-ho’s solo exhibition. Professor Kim Tae-ho is one of our country’s representatives of monochromatic painting. Before his work of piling layers of paints, he started with using spray in works with depth of slightly dark tones. One piece Professor Kim has made with our country’s traditional paper hanji is one of his most impressive works. Then he has made very diverse attempts to finally get to the series of Internal Rhythm. While his work seems like one tone when seen from far, as we get closer, the countless colors connected inside give us the impression of being told diverse stories. When you come in person to Maison Galleria to appreciate these new works, I hope you directly experience this pulse of Internal Rhythm. "
