'HERITAGE'
신세계프라퍼티와 초이스아트컴퍼니는 제5회 상생아트페스티벌 "Heritage" 전을 코엑스 스타필드에서 개최한다.
이번 전시는 한국 정서의 DNA를 바탕으로 작업한 대표작가의 작품들을 통해 한국 미술 Heritage의 흐름을 보여주고자 한다. 현재까지 큰 활동을 하고 있는 작가들부터 맥을 이어오고 있는 중견 작가들의 작품까지 내밀함과 깊은 정체성을 느낄 수 있는 국내외에서 주목받는 작가 20여 명의 대표 작품을 한자리에서 감상할 수 있는 귀한 시간을 준비했다.

전시 일부에서는 알렉스 카츠 판화 전, SAS (Sangseang Artist Space)를 마련해, 주목받는 MZ세대 작가들에게도 전시의 기회를 주며 폐 플라스틱을 가구로 재탄생시키는 업사이클링 강영민 작가 등, 스타필드 안에서 다양한 예술을 함께 즐길 수 있는 모두의 아트 축제가 될 것으로 기대한다.
'SANGSEANG ART SPACE, SAS'
SAS 상생 아티스트 스페이스에서는 현재 가장 주목받고있는 MZ 세대 작가 권혜승, 조수민, 가수정, 김석, 미미, 넌지, 이아람, 임소진, 이효선의 전시를 마련하였다. 이번 전시에 참여하는 MZ 세대 대표 작가들은 날짜에 맞춰 전시장에 상주하여 고객들과 소통하여 고객들이 직접 작가로부터 작품 이야기를 들을 수 있는 시간을 마련하였다. 각 작가들의 부스를 마련해서 전시와 포토존의 역할을 할 수 있는 공간으로 진행하였다.
'윤정원 작가 x 김영석 디자이너'
2005년도의 바비가 윤정원 작가의 상상으로 재탄생한 '까엘라' (Qi est la?/ 누구세요?)와 아트와 일상 사이의 아름다운 한복을 만드는 김영석 디자이너의 특별한 파우치의 콜라보 이벤트를 진행한다. 김영석 디자이너는 영부인 김윤옥 여사의 영국 국재행사 (G20 정상회담) 한복 및 전 영부인 한복과 대통령 내외의 해외순방 한복 디자이너이다. 윤정원 작가의 까엘라와 김영석 디자이너가 디자인한 파우치는 둘다 옛것을 현대로 불러왔다는 점에서 의미가 있는 작품들이다.
삶 속에 인간의 욕망과 아름다움이 동시에 존재한다는 딜레마와 마주하지만, 너를 통해 우리를 인정하고 나를 통찰한다. 그리고 욕망에서 아름다움으로 이어진 판타지, 그 사유의 가치를 시각화한다. 자유롭지 않은 우리에게서 나로 나아가는 확장성을 깨우며, 다시 태어난 우리가, 개인이, 내가, 너로 소통하며 르네상스를 꿈꾼다.
윤정원 작가는 습관화된 배움을 거부하고 정형성에 저항한다. 설치, 회화, 사진 등 매체를 구분하지 않고 작가만의 독특한 상상과 시선으로 일상의 모든 것이 재료가 되어 드로잉을 하는 마음으로 작업을 한다.
사람과 동물, 사물이 그 모든 것이 자연과 하나가 되어 위계 없이 공존한다는 메시지를 나누며 그만의 예술임을 말한다.
'강영민 작가'
강영민 작가는 한 공장의 생산 공정 중 1년에 50톤씩 폐기되는 PVC를 자신의 작품으로 전환하는 업사이클링 작가다. 버려지는 PVC를 가구와 오브제로 재탄생 시키는 작업을 하면서 많은 인기를 얻고 있고 버려지는 것들로도 아름답고 실용적인 무엇이 될수있는 가능성을 보여주는 작품으로 의미가 있음을 보여 준다.
'알렉스 카츠'
알렉스 카츠는 미국현대미술의 대표작가이며 작품은 대담한 채색과 절제된 화면이 특징이다. 전세계인들의 사랑받는 그의 작품은 모마, 휘트니미술관, 테이트모던 미술관 등 전 세계 유명미술관과 기관에 컬렉션되었다.
전시된 판화는 그의 대표 플라워작품을 100점의 에디션으로 제작되었다.

'HERITAGE'
Choice Art Company hosts, with Shinsegae Property, the 5th Sangseang Art Festival, named ‘HERITAGE' exhibition at COEX Starfield.
We would like to show the flow of Korean art through works of leading artists who have worked based on the DNA of Korean sentiment. We organize a precious time to appreciate the representative works of recognizing artists from home and abroad, which it can feel their depth and deep identity in one place from current active artists to mid-career artists who have continued their pulse.

Some of the exhibitions are expected to be an art festival for all to enjoy various arts in Starfield, including Alex Katz's engraving exhibition and Kang Young-min, an upcycling artist who revives waste plastic as furniture, SAS (Sangseoang Artist Space) that we've created to give the attention of the MZ generation artists an opportunity to exhibit.
'SANGSEANG ART SPACE, SAS'
SAS, Sanseang Artist Space has organized an exhibition of the most notable MZ generation artists Kwon Hye-seung, Jo Su-min, Singer Jung, Kim Seok, Mimi, Nunji, Lee Aram, Lim So-jin, and Lee Hyo-sun. Representative artists of the MZ generation who participate in the exhibition reside in the exhibition hall according to the date and communicate with customers to provide time for customers to hear the story of the work directly from the artist. Each artist's booth was set up and held as a space that could serve as an exhibition and photo zone.
'Artist Yoon Jeong Won X Designer Kim Young Seok'
"Qi est la?" (Who are you?), a 2005 Barbie re-created with Yoon Jung-won's imagination and 'Special Pouch' that made by designer Kim Young-seok, who creates a beautiful hanbok between art and daily life, collaboration event will be held. Kim young seok is a designer who designs the first lady Kim Yoon-ok's Hanbok worn at G20 summit in Britain and Hanbok for the former first lady and the president's overseas trip. The pouch designed by Kim Young-seok and Yoon Jung-won's Kaella are both meaningful in that it brought the old to the present.
I face the dilemma that human desire and beauty are at the same time in life, but I recognize us through you and gain insight into myself. I also visualizes the value of fantasy and reason that leads from desire to beauty. I dream of a Renaissance by awakening the scalability that moves from isolated us, and that we, who are reborn, communicate as individuals, I, and you.
Yoon Jung-won avoids habitual learning and resists orthodoxy. She works with the mind of drawing from the artist's unique imagination and gaze, using everything in a daily life as a material without distinguishing between media such as installation, painting, photography, etc. It is an art of its own, with sharing the messages that people, animals, and objects are all one with nature and coexist without hierarchy.
'Artist Kang Young min'
Kang, Young-min is an upcycling artist who changes PVC into his own work, which is discarded at 50 tons per year during the production process of a factory. While working on reinventing discarded PVC into furniture and objects, it has been popular, and shows the meaning work of potentiality that discarded things can be something beautiful and practical.
'Artist Alex Katz'
Alex Katz is a well-known artist of American contemporary art, and his works are characterized by bold coloring and understated screens. His beloved and famous works around the world have been collected in famous museums and institutions around the world, such as the Moma, Whitney Museum of american art, and the Tate Modern Museum of Art. The prints on display were produced as 100 editions of his signature flower works.
