작품 '토바(TOBBA)'는 톱니바퀴에서 영감을 받아, 개인과 사회가 상호 연결되어 에너지를 생성하는 모습을 상징합니다. 토바는 앞면과 뒷면에 서로 다른 표정을 담아, 외적인 사회적 페르소나와 내면의 감정 사이의 긴장과 균형을 표현합니다. 또한, 디지털 시대의 문자 부호를 물리적 구조로 변환하여, 감정과 정체성을 시각적으로 전달하는 새로운 언어로 활용합니다. 작가는 토바를 통해 인간의 양면성을 친근하게 표현하며, 다양한 감정을 존중하고 포용하는 것이 건강한 관계 형성에 필수적임을 강조한다.
