About

Among the many records of life, I have been applying thoughts and experiences gained from observing plants and landscapes into my painting practice.

While I do not deny the aura of painting, I wish to accumulate a lifelong chronicle—like a series of fragmented notes—through the act of painting, even if it is not always grounded in a fixed philosophical system.

Perhaps that is why the inspiration from my Landscapes with Stories series has naturally flowed into the Free Revival series, and the Free Revival series has, in turn, evolved into Peach Blossom Utopia.

Rather than adhering to a fixed narrative, I aim to explore the artist’s attitude—one that aligns with the aestheticism demanded by our times: a commitment to continuous research and reflection.
